Amiko – a Minnesota native living in Dallas, Texas, drew this sketch T-Shirt design herself and to pay homage to her grandmother’s Texas roots.  This original sketch for this version of Hat Trick holds a US Copyright and the design adds a red, white and blue Texas Lone Star on the cheek of this Texas “Wildcatter” inspired graphic.  Amiko’s great grandfather was a “Wildcatter” and the term refers to an independent oil driller, who gambles and discovers oil “where no one else does”.  It’s a tribute to the freelance risk-taking profession that is deeply rooted in Texas history, lore and culture.
