Amiko Biography
Amiko is a fast-rising music artist blending heartfelt storytelling with infectious melodies. She has a background in music and soccer -as a former player and youth coach, and is relatively new to the music industry as a writer, arranger, and lead vocalist. Amiko brings a fresh, empowering voice both vocally and with her lyric writing, along with her storied 13#1 Billboard Hit co-writer/producer, Carlos Battey, to the pop, country pop, rock, and electronic dance music scene.
She was born on a U.S. Army military base in Japan. Amiko’s stage name carries deep personal significance—gifted to her by a Japanese elder who cherished her as a baby. She sang her first song early—at about 11 months old—start to finish in both English and Japanese.
In mid-2024, she decided to go for it and live out her lifelong dream to write and sing. Amiko quickly carved out a unique space where music, sports, and personal empowerment intersect.
As a former player and youth soccer coach, Amiko has dedicated much of her life to the sport. She has also explored and will continue a lifelong commitment to writing poetry since childhood. Amiko also played the flute and studied music for 12 years.
As an entrepreneur, she has been inspired by childhood initiatives related to youth athleticcs, physical education, and nonprofit volunteer work. A self-proclaimed distinction was a recognition that she is the “world’s first singing soccer coach,” which allowed her to merge her passions with a tactical and strategic vision throughout her first two year working on her creative endeavors—redefining representation in music, fashion, sports, and the movement she hopes will continue on global dance floors everywhere.
Her first set of hit singles. Reckless Klubjumpers and Sean Finn Remixes, her second release, Signs of Life, and her recent release, Signs of Life Featuring Blackwell, who is a hip-hop artist and producer who is also a U.S. Military Veteran. All of Amiko’s current releases showcase her dynamic vocals on high-energy original singles and original remixes. Reckless Sean Finn and Klubjumpers remixes have reached #7 on the UK Music Week Commercial Pop Club Chart, as well as Top 40 to #1 in Brazil. The 2024 Paris Olympic timing in France with 3 major club charts at #3, #5, #5 where Amiko stayed strong for months after the Olympic games were over.
Brazil saw Amiko dominate @radio.fm100’s #1 position for 11 consecutive weeks, with 29 weeks on their Top 30 chart inside the Top 20.
With last year’s entry onto six small market regional U.S. radio stations, Amiko is delivering the message that she is ready to compete.
With a bold vision for the future, she is just getting started—blazing a trail where very few people in music and athletics—especially soccer—have gone before. a creative and powerful harmony while inspiring others to embrace their best life, while aiming her sights on the sound of soccer in time for the 2026 & 2027 FIFA World Cup competitions that celebrate a mutual passion for the beautiful game and her music to go with it.
